is it possible to create a Standard Blog Listing Layout with thumbnails without using Image as Post Format and without having the Featured Image displayed in the Single Post Page? In other words: I would like to add a Featured Image for Standard Post Format which exclusively serves as a thumbnail in Blog List Page. Or at least an option to prevent the featured image from being displayed on the Single Post Page.

I know there is no build-in option for that (why? it is so obvious that people want thumbs in their blog posts) …

Also a great help would be to have the ability to set different thumbnail appearance for homepage (using sections) and Custom Post Type Listing Page, e.g. excerpt displayed below on homepage and displaye3d in overlay on Listing Page (or vice versa).

And still the Same Category Navigation does not work …
