pictures in a scroll bar gallery

Hi. Hope you can help me solve this.

I have a "press" page. On this page I would like to make a link. This link should open af gallery with thumb-size pictures, that the person clicking can download. I would like the pictures to be thumb size in a vertical "bar" where it is possible to scroll. Hope you understand. How do I do this?
