Mobile search icon + menu disappearing

Hi!
On my mobile (Android 5.0.2, Motorola E 2015) the search icon disappears on clicking it .. and after that search-field does not appear, is this a know issue?
Also in the mobile menu when typing in the search-field, the whole menu disappears.. (search-field keeps working though..)
