Hello,
When pages load for the first time, the main logo on the site shows the alt tag big and bold for quite a while before the actual logo loads, which is very distracting. I'd like to remove the alt tag so nothing shows before the logo.
The problem is the logo alt tag is set on the main site customise menu, not in the media library. It appears that WordPress takes the Site Title as the alt tag. I don't want to remove the site title, but I don't want the alt tag showing.
Unfortunately you can't edit alt tags using CSS
I have FTP access to the site files. Is there an include file, or page template somewhere where I can delete the alt tag code? I've looked around, but can't work out where the logo appears. This is the part of the code as it appears on the rendered page, with the alt tag I want removed:
<a href="http://www.wp.glynnthomas.com/" class="main-logo" data-ajax="true" title="Glynn Thomas"><img src="http://www.wp.glynnthomas.com/wp-content/uploads/glynn_thomas.svg" alt="Glynn Thomas" width="250"></a>
Many thanks.
