How to put slideshow in hero/header?

How can I get the slideshow to work in the hero/header?
If this can only be done with the slider Revolution can you please send me a link that explains how it works? I can't find out how to control it? In details 😉 Do I have to pay for the slider Revolution?

But better! Can I put in some code that will make the built in sliders work. My client will have trouble using the slider Revolution 🙁
