I downloaded the woo commerce plug in and it works fine on Madrigal. Although I don't have much control over the shop page design, I have tried adding a header and footer specifically for the shop page but it didn't work and now using the woo commerce storefront plugin seems to be the best option.

I downloaded the storefront plugin and tried to install it but it said :

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.

Do let me know what I can do to achieve better control design wise on the shop page, apart from the Northeme shop/woocommerce settings under theme options. I want to add widgets specific to the shop page. Thanks!
