How do i update the website description in google search?

Case ID #3307   -   Setup / Installation

It currently shows as 'My portfolio' when i search in google.

In the page custom fields section i have updated the 'seo- desc' a week or 2 ago and it still won't update in google search. Am i updating the right place?
