grid thumbnails to individual image galleries

Hi, sorry I clicked resolved accidentally…I'm using a grid gallery as my main art works page. Each square thumbnail is evenly spaced, 6 thumbs per row. It looks good. When I click on each thumbnail image it shows the images in slideshow/lightbox. How can I change this and make each thumbnail open up its own gallery of images (to open in a slideshow with captions)?

I want these individual galleries (and page they are on) to be very clean, minimal – just images with caption and smaller thumbnails of images.
