Error installing theme

Oddly I'm experiencing difficulies installing the Workality Plus Theme.

This seem to resemble the troubles Katie Brasil meantions here:

I'm denied installing the .zip-file via WordPress:"Page Could Not Be Loaded, Status: 500, Response: Service Unavailable, XID: 1910616848”

When uploading by FTP a whole bunch of rights are changed to 755 and the theme shows up alright, but when attempting to activate the page cannot be loaded: "Page Could Not Be Loaded, Status: 500, Response: Service Unavailable, XID: 2222538372”

After this the present site with previously activated theme cannot be loaded either. This is immediately restored when I delete the theme from the FTP.

I'm running WP 4.2.3

Do you guys have anny ideas what can be causing these problems and how to solve them?
