Background slider with video issue

Hi,
I add a background slider, choose video and insert all the details for the video.
Everything plays fine. Then I go back to edit the video under background sliders and everything I've entered disappeared and now it asks me for a vimeo link. Video now doesn't play on the page. I run into the same issue trying to add a video and then an additional image slide to the slider. Could this be a bug?
