Social Links / Social Sharing
Social media icons and post sharing buttons can be managed at Northeme > Theme Options > Post Sharing & Social Media.
Social Links
You can display social links in different locations of your page (depending on the theme, options may include the header, sidebar, or footer). To add a new social link, click the Add New Icon button.
Adding Social Icons:
- To use a Font Awesome icon, type any Font Awesome icon name with the
fa-prefix (e.g.,fa-facebook,fa-instagram). - Alternatively, you can use plain text to link to a social media website without an icon.
Social Sharing
Social sharing buttons will appear on single post pages (blog, product, custom post type). The following buttons are included:
- Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Tumblr, and Vkontakte.
- A Facebook Like button is also provided along with the sharing icons.
💡
Good to know: When adding social links, ensure the icon names are entered exactly as provided by Font Awesome. Icons are case-sensitive, and the incorrect prefix can prevent icons from displaying correctly.
