There are dozens of free backup plugins for WordPress, but we recommend UpdraftPlus, which is one of the most popular backup plugins for scheduled backups:

Transfer

For transferring or cloning your entire website, several WordPress backup/transfer plugins can assist. Duplicator is a free and easy-to-use option:

Once the plugin is activated, go to the plugin’s page in your dashboard and create a backup and installer. Afterward, upload the installer file (install.php) and the backup zip file to the root of your new web hosting and navigate to install.php with your preferred browser. Simply follow the instructions to complete the cloning process. More information can be found on the Duplicator Website.

Please note that Duplicator may fail if you have large files to transfer. Although we suggest using Duplicator as it may work in most cases, we cannot offer support for transfer issues.
