Built-in Sliders

The built-in sliders offer a lightweight solution for creating simple sliders.

The Slider / Gallery Manager can be accessed under the Sliders menu in your dashboard. You can create an unlimited number of sliders and use them with shortcodes.

Create a New Slider / Manage a Slider

To create or manage a slider, click the Add New Slider button or the Edit link for an existing slider.

The slider editing page provides Image and Video buttons to add media. You can embed videos from third-party providers like YouTube or Vimeo, as well as use the WordPress video player for self-hosted videos.

When an image in the slider is clicked, it will be displayed in a lightbox. If you prefer to disable this feature, you can toggle the Disable Lightbox option.

Once a slider is created, you can add it to any post or page by using the shortcode. You can find the corresponding shortcodes on the listing and slider editing pages.

Slider Settings

Slider settings can be configured under Northeme > Plugin & General Options. You can adjust various options such as animation speed, icon speed, and other settings.
