Blog posts can be managed under the Posts section in the WordPress dashboard.

The blog also requires a posts listing page. If you haven’t created one yet, go to Pages and create a page using the Blog Template.

Creating a new post is a straightforward process. Simply set the Title and Content fields. Additionally, the Post Excerpt serves as a secondary title displayed below the main title. The excerpt is also shown on the posts listing page.

Regain is optimized for the WordPress Editor. You can use WordPress blocks to build pages. Larger and full-width content is supported for certain blocks, such as Image, to help create unique layouts.

Step 1: Turn the block(s) into a group

Step 2: Change content width from group settings

(Deprecated) Content Width Limiter

In case you’re using Classic Editor (or Gutenberg Editor without the above method), you can use the Content Width Limiter shortcode to create full-width content.

By default, post content is limited to a width of 650px and displayed within the main container. To use larger containers, such as full-width images or WordPress galleries, you can utilize the Content Width Limiter wrapper.

The Regain Blog doesn’t support variable width options and allows only full-width content.

You can choose between two options for featured content: Thumbnail or Video.

  • Thumbnail
This is the default option. If a hover image is uploaded, it will appear when hovering over the thumbnail.

  • Video
Supports YouTube, Vimeo URLs, or embed codes. You can also use built-in slider shortcodes to display a slider as the featured content.
