Widgets / Sidebars

Sidebars are tools to add widgets to your pages.

Your theme offers specific widget areas, and they can be managed at Appearance > Widgets on your dashboard.

Footer Widgets

The Footer 1 – 4 widget areas are located in the footer and have some differences compared to other sidebars. The Northeme > Theme Options > Website Layout > Footer Widgets section provides an option called Footer Widget Columns, which allows you to set the number of columns for the footer. You can change this setting to divide the footer into equal columns. For example, setting it to 2 columns will split the footer into two, with Footer 1 and Footer 2 being used for widgets.

The Page Settings panel on the Add / Edit Page page offers the Hide Footer Widgets option, which allows you to hide the footer widgets on specific pages.
